Browsing and analytics
The site includes Vercel Analytics and PostHog. The production PostHog configuration enables interaction autocapture, page-leave events and person profiles, and manually records page views with the page address and its query string. These services may associate browsing activity with browser or device identifiers.
The site also includes Meta Pixel code configured to send PageView events to two pixel identifiers. A no-JavaScript fallback requests Meta tracking images. These integrations allow third-party measurement of visits; actual collection can depend on browser controls, blocking and the service configuration.
Avoid putting medical details or other private information into URL query parameters. Those parameters can be included in the site’s page-view collection. This site does not treat ordinary browsing as a confidential clinical interaction.
Forms and accounts
The current site has no patient account, newsletter enrollment or working message-submission form. The former contact form only logged entered information in the browser and displayed a success message; it did not send a message to an editorial inbox. It has been removed.
We do not request diagnoses, prescriptions or health histories through an on-site form. A provider reached through a link runs its own enrollment and applies its own privacy practices.
Affiliate links and other websites
Sponsored links include campaign parameters that identify this publication and the placement. When you follow a link, the destination and its analytics may receive the destination address, attribution parameters and information your browser ordinarily sends.
Read the destination’s privacy policy before providing health or payment information. Its handling of that information is separate from this publication’s browsing analytics.
Controls and retention
Browser settings and privacy tools can restrict cookies and third-party requests. This site does not currently provide a separate on-site analytics preference control. We have not published a verified retention period for the third-party analytics or advertising accounts.
The contact page identifies the current availability of an editorial contact channel. This policy does not promise a deletion-request workflow or a particular vendor account setting that has not been implemented or verified.
Updates
We will revise this page when the site’s collection paths change. The date above identifies this version. Do not interpret use of a health-information page as consent to clinical care or enrollment with a provider.
